Lambeth is developing its strategy to reduce serious youth violence, following a public health approach. The strategy will address a wide range of risk factors for youth violence as well as supporting those already involved with or at high risk of involvement in youth violence. Youth violence is defined here as violence against young people aged 10-25, but interventions will support and target people from a wider range of ages. An important feature of the Lambeth approach is co-production with young people and the communities in Lambeth. This will be a ten year strategy and will aim to reduce incidents of serious youth violence, as well as broader outcomes. We are interested in working with researchers to explore options for evaluating the strategy.
